Former President Bill Clinton was admitted to a Washington hospital on Monday with a fever, his spokesperson said on social media.

“President Clinton was admitted to Georgetown University Medical Center this afternoon for testing and observation after developing a fever,” Angel Ureña said on X around 5 p.m. EST.

“He remains in good spirits and deeply appreciates the excellent care he is receiving,” Ureña said.

Clinton spent several weeks this fall on the road campaigning for Vice President Harris.

In 2021, Clinton was hospitalized for five days with sepsis caused by an infection.
